Buccaneer: The Pursuit of Infamy, the critically acclaimed indie arcade game created by Stickman Studios in conjunction with Blitz Arcade through Blitz Games Studios’ Blitz 1UP programme, is full of more rumbustious fun than ever, with a whole host of new swashbuckling features now available.
Buccaneer now features an all new Co-op Mode with five separate mini campaigns containing a total of 20 new levels. Battle your buddies against the endless waves of Crown ships – with the score stacked heavily in the Crown’s favour and time ticking away, co-operation is key to win through and add your name to the Hall of Infamy.
“Buccaneer has already shown just what is possible in the indie game market. Stickman have managed to create high quality visuals with no compromise being made on the gameplay,” says Chris Swan, Blitz Arcade’s Business Development Director. “The multiplayer features have already been a huge hit, so with the new co-op options there are even more ways to don your pirate hats and get down to some swashbuckling action.”
Buccaneer’s arcade-style fun invites you to take to the high seas, blast enemy ships out of the water, plunder gold and strike fear into the hearts of your piratical opponents. With great looking visuals and easy to use controls, Buccaneer offers the opportunity to become king of the high seas and test your single-player strategy or teamplay prowess.
To celebrate the release of the new patch Stickman Studios and Blitz 1UP have also released a new flash minigame all about helping out your fellow pirates.
