Don’t get me wrong, World of Warcraft is a very fun and well written game. But as with any game, there are issues that could be corrected. One of these with no easy correction is the ganking of lower level characters by higher level enemy characters in PVP servers. Most will say that if you join a PVP server, expect it, and they’re right. But in some cases it is rampatantly out of control.
Many lower level areas where PVP is allowed are swarming with higher level characters on weekends looking for an easy kill. When level 70 characters were introduced with the expansion, the guards in the lowbie towns were no longer sufficient to defend against attacks as much as they previously were. But instead of bumping up the guard’s levels to help compensate, Blizzard actually went the other direction and REDUCED the level of the defender guards. Now it is common place to have lowbie towns occupied on the weekends. The only hope of help is if friendly high level players come in for some action, without them the lowbies are camped day in and day out with no suitable defense. This will scare away subscribers who don’t have a high level character they can have help them. Bad move in my opinion.

Lol you’re fucking stupid, don’t play on a PVP server if you’re going to complain about getting ganked.

Thanks for your comment Nick, but read that first paragraph again. I agree PvP is to be expected in a PvP server, but when you have groups of level 70 (now 80) players killing all the level 20 players as they enter the contested zones for the first time, day in and day out – never allowing them to level and offering no NPC protection even in the towns, something has to change.

ive noticed this myself. flight masters dident get a scale up and now can be solod in seconds, outland guards that are only zone levels. a single 80 has free roam over anyplace it wants outside of northrend, its pretty weak.
