Just a last minute reminder for those of you who have a copy of Star Wars Galaxies collecting dust somewhere. SWGEmu.com is hosting a test of their SWG emulator server tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM EST. The more testers we can get in the better the results will be and closer live launch will be!
Here’s how to get in:
Before you begin, head on over to SWGEmu.com and register for a forum account. This will be the username/password you use to log into the Test Center.
SWGEmu Installation
1. Install your discs. You can use any version of the game. Do not update at this time.
2. Download Launchpad Enhanced setup
3. Intall Launchpad Enhanced by clicking on the .exe file. (remember to be set as the admin if your on Vista)
4. Update through Launchpad Enhanced. Depending on your download speed this can take several hours. Recommendation for the first download is to do it overnight. Do NOT interrupt the download or you will corrupt files.
5. Log on using SWGEmu.com Forum Name and Password.
6. Play!
