Bioware has released a new cinematic trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) and only one word comes to mind – “EPIC”. Watching this trailer has me packing my bags and ready to take a trip to the outer rim to fight me some Sith! I have to remind myself though, this is a cinematic trailer – not showing any actual gameplay. Which makes me think how many times I’ve seen epic or awesome trailers and lackluster gameplay. I somehow doubt that’ll be the case with SWTOR but have been let down so many times by past MMO’s that I find myself being cautiously optimistic or a closet pessimist.
At any rate, the trailer is extremely enjoyable and if anything it shows Bioware’s commitment to quality work. Let’s hope they put as much effort into the gameplay (or more) as they did the cinematic trailer. Enjoy “Deceived”
