As the next closed beta event for Karos Online draws nearer, NHN has released new screenshots showing the varied environments players can explore on the world of Asmara. The first closed beta weekend featured three areas: Berneo, a vast wetland and fertile area for farming; Lupinel, a coastal zone with rich mines and a busy fishing industry; andTempteroon, a picturesque and densely populated crossroads with a towering mountain range to the south. The next closed beta event will introduce the ancient, historic region of Peltrok, featuring sprawling ruins and a giant commercial city where merchants of all types converge to sell and trade goods. NHN has confirmed that the development of Karos Online is constantly evolving in response to feedback from European players, and more details and features will be revealed as the closed beta continues. Karos Online is scheduled to be released in English during Q4 2009, with versions in German and Turkish to follow later.
