Darkfall Online Sales Closed Until Queue Fixed

Due to long queue times – we’re talking many multiples of hours in some cases – Adventurine has decided to suspend any more sales of Darkfall Online until player capacity can be increased.  Obviously, this is going to make some people very unhappy.  Not those of us who are in, but if you are reading this right now instead of playing that someone probably is you.

While there are Darkfall servers on the distant horizon, I wouldn’t get my hopes up to soon about another Euro or US server launching within the next few weeks, I could be wrong.  Instead we’ll have to hope that Adventurine’s current server will be successfully expanded and the code base tweaked to allow for more players.  This is what they are trying to do.  For those of you who are incredibly desperate, there are ways for you to get a copy but it doesn’t come cheap.  If you don’t want to wait the days or weeks until a copy is available, you can try to pickup one on various auction sites out on the internet.  The one I’ve been using is Playerauctions.com, they have a pretty secure system for making trades it seems, better than most anyway.  But prices are very high right now (on any site) and supply is low – so if you want a copy without waiting, be prepared to pay at the very least triple the retail price.
