Coming this December, Guilds in Bounty Bay Online (BBO) will be able to establish their own colonies. Expansions like this add a wealth of content and value to players because it gives them a peice of in-game real estate to call their own. With the so called “Colony Add-on” expansion, guilds will be able to build a unique city with an adjoining harbor to call their own.
Guilds will not only be able to choose between three different options for the outward appearance of their colony, but more importantly will have a great degree of control with how their colony shapes up in the future by choosing from four distinct colony roles:
- The Industrial Harbor – This type of colony will focus their harbor on the research of new weapons and armor and the trading of pets.
- Business Harbor – This harbor specializes in the trade of goods between other colonies.
- Collector’s Harbor – A colony that specializes in importing and stocking goods that could normally only be bought from NPC’s.
- Military Harbor – Specializes in the research of new ships, new features for ships, canons and ammunition.
Harbors are a great compliment to your
guilds play style and can increase the strengths of your guild in various ways. Not to mention it gives you a great place to call home and a nice retreat for those
stormy nights.
