I understand that pausing and resuming the early access download is another solution to keep the download speed up at normal levels. This works for me when I try it this way but slows back down to a snails pace after about 5 minutes or so. You can just pause and resume again every five minutes, but who wants to sit at their computer pausing….and resuming….and pausing…you get the idea. If this is what you need to do, I’ve got good news.
I’ve found a trial program called AI Robot that will enable you to automate your mouse clicks with just a little setup. It’s not the best macro program I’ve ever seen and there are plenty of them out there that may be better but with just a few minutes setup you can have your computer automatically pause and resume your download on a set interval while you are out of the house. The trial is only good for 21 days but that is more than enough time to complete the Early Access Download. Happy gaming!

I’ve been running this theory now combined with Net Limiter and the slow download fix from my previous post. Along with AI Robot the downloads have been stable. I have AI robot pausing and resuming my download about every 10 minutes to keep the speed at it’s peek. At this pace I’m at 80.5% complete as of right now and should be completely done downloading by 4 or 5 AM tomorrow morning.
