It’s been 24 hours since I began the Early Access Download for AoC. This morning my download was at 17% completion, which if it keeps at this pace means it should be complete early Saturday morning my time. I’m not planning on waiting up until midnight on the 17th to start anyway, I’m not that hard core anymore, besides I think my wife would disown me. So hopefully this pace continues or quickens.
On a plus side the average download speed has increased to around 38kbps, if that trend continues and the download speed keeps increasing until the end, which I’m skeptical about, the download should finish sooner than expected but I’ll be happy if it finishes Saturday morning. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, this is usually about the time my service provider has major problems or my computer crashes!
