Tomorrow morning, August 19th the NDA wall will finally be coming down, thanks to Keen for pointing out this good bit of info! Finally, closed beta testers will be able to openly discuss the in’s and out’s of WAR. Expect tomorrow to be a flood of new information posts, podcasts, videos and screenshots of previously behind closed doors information about the game.
We already knew that the OPEN BETA part of WAR was going to open up on September 7th. However there is good news that Fileplanet will be hosting the downloads (no subscription required) of the game client which should really help support what is sure to be a massive influx of open beta downloaders. To make it even better, those already in closed beta are going to be patched up to the open beta version without the need to download the new client – further freeing up precious bandwidth.

No subscription, but you do have to register.
